What's a good mock draft site to scour over that isn't linked to that greasehead Mel Kiper?

At least he's still the greatest Gator to put on an NFL uniform!

He wanted to say the Patriots got completely goatfucked but then realized he was on TV and couldn't and got all tounge-tied

And please let the god damn Bengals draft or sign a tight end that can actually catch a pass this offseason. Are you listening Mike Brown?

Panthers just cut David Carr... lol, poor guy. especially after getting massacred on the texans all those years.

Posted by RJT on Feb-28-2008 16:38:

Meh - I think Carr always got way more credit than he deserved, and for whatever reason in particular when he was with the Texans the SC guys used to just love to show every little minor thing he did well, when in reality he was just barely a step above awful.

david carr is the pre-death reincarnation of dave klingler. nobody will ever know how good either of them was because they got hit-shy. same with rex grossman to a slightly lesser extent. they stop stepping into throws because they know they're going to get hit on every single play, and they never recover.

lol no shit, the Bengals threw Klingler to the wolves and ruined him in less than a season.

Asante Samuel goes from Pats to Eagles.

He's average in coverage, but he just have great instincts on reading the QB and going for the INT. I'm glad the Jets didn't go after him.

I think the Eagles played a bit too much for him too.

Just FYi, Carr went to Fresno State

He was so highly touted coming out because of his maturity (had 2 kids coming out of college?) that everyone assumed life in the NFL would be a breeze....I guess thats not the case when 320+ DE are blindsiding you because your Tackle/Guard combo collapsed. I think inconspicuous has said it best...

Hoping the Browns make another move or two to shore up the D

That's exactly why I was happy he landed elsewhere. It's not the biggest pressing need that the Jets need to fill.
