Please Help

hello everyone

as of last night i was working on a very good electronica kinda housey song that has very strong potential and well i dont know what happend but my f drive detected something corrupted

while i was working on the track so after i closed out reason 4 i tried to open the file back up and it says can not perform due to a media related problem although i still have the save file

i even made a back up of the same file earlier before it happened and still the same thing!!! but luckly i usually make a small demo audio clip.

this track is only 2 min long because i was barely getting into it after i created the bassline for it id love for it to be extended to at least 5 min

originally i was going to come here to ask if anyone wanted to collab on this track and add some of there flavor because id hate this track to go to waste if you can loop the song and put some of your sounds on it it would be great since im looking for people to collab with.

sorry for the long story but i had to explain in detail what happend i hope i can work with one of you guys and thanks alot for listening

have you tried restoring your system to a time before this happened? its worked for me in the past to sort a few problems out

ill try that hopefully it will work but the problem is the day i worked on it is the same time it happend

maybe try putting the backup file on a disk, it only resets settings of things/or uninstalls stuff thats been installed, dont think it deletes files you can also restore back if it doesnt work too!!!

i just think its so dam wierd that reason did that to me of course im pissed off about it too nothing worse than loosing a good project but i will try to do what i can to get some results

That doesn't matter, since system restore only restories the system settings to an earlier time. No files or instaled programs etc will be affected in any way by doing this. So if your problem is somwhow related to an issue with the system settings, it may well work after doing that. System restore have helped me many times. But I'm afraid your problem is far greater then that though, but it's worth a try for sure! Good Luck!

He is right. I've had plenty of pirated software that ran just fine.

yes i did used the scream 4 with mid damage and a bit eqing on the scream turning the low up and keeping the mids in the middle this was only for the kick as for the bass line i used both low filters on the maelstrom with mid resolution
