Nortek - Undertaker (richard gale rmx) - Help needed please:)

hey guys.

im workin on a rmx for my friend and fellow ta. 'dj palm'. for his label. the track is called 'nortek - undertaker' and i have come near completetion of my rmx of it. a sample is on my myspace player and id love to hear any critics you might have with it. mainly on the mixing - im happy with structure and sounds. but mixing is a issue im fighting with so id like to hear your views on how it can be made that little bit more nice

Good work Rich,always love the emotion you put into your synths & chord progressions....i know i always say this hehe but maybe add more power to your pads/percs near the end like some of the old skool MIKE stuff...other than that,its sounding like a very promising atmospheric remix keep us informed how you progress with it.

The lead sounds a bit dry and out of place. It doesn't really blend with the track. Maybe you could add a huge delay and reverb to it and then just sidechain the wet sound. Do something crazy with it. Also, it comes in rather suddenly. Other than that it sounds good to me.

awesome muted bassline...maybe you should automate it through a filter or sth to make the track more pulsating

agree on the synth, maybe make it even simpler...more suprising =) could be a bomb track if you finish

track could def be a bomb!!! i like it alot...maybe make a more powerful pad tords end...cant wait to hear it when its done

by the way mate.... i made a tweeked version. a bit brighter than the last 48khz wav i sent..
