Life is Good

Nothing extraordinarily good or bad has happened recently. I'm in my last sem of a masters, doing a course I love, hoping to find a job in the sports industry when I finish, or if things go well, open a 5 a side network all across India (akin to www.goalsfootball.co.uk)

I just feel good at the moment. I don't do too much besides my classwork, except a mandatory football game every weekend and a few nights out when possible. I have no clue why I'm making this thread, but I just feel that things could be much worse, and I'm happy where I am.

im on day 19 in a row and have 9 more to go until i get a day off between these two jobs @ 64-72 hours a week.

i did just buy a macbook pro, itll be the first time ive ever sat down and messed with a mac. 4 or 5 more days and itll be on my doorstep. i hate being in debt and hurricane katrina can suck a fuck.

This post made me think: "are supposed 'negative' people more comfortable with their station and position in life, and inherently happier?"

I'm rather cynical, which makes me a realist with my feet firmly on the ground, whereas I see lots of people who insist on constantly "trying to find happiness" and tend to keep disappointing themselves, even if their life is going great. If they get knocked down slightly, it hurts them badly, whereas the cynic will say "fuck it" and keep going.

I think cynics and negative people are inherently "happier" despite outward appearances. Discuss.
