Le Freak - Das Klub Muppet
New Set From the Freak!! Hes been quiet for a while but now hes back to dose everyone with some techno.
" Was in the mood to play a few records while recovering from a 2 day bender/boomboomathon/party boy weekend. Keeping it Tech as per usual, this set is an hour long and in full 320. No editing, straight from the decks so let me know if everything sounds ok. The last track is by far the most plurific beautiful track i have ever heard.
Cheers People

Just finished listening. Nice work man, I enjoyed that one more than the last one you posted. Been listening to almost all prog lately, so it's nice to hear some of your insane techy shit. ![]()
Edit: The fucking sheep at the start though
hominid destroys my face
Yea the first track at the beginning is definately special. The person going mueh mueh mueh mooo does the trick for me tho lol.
in.
think this is probably my favourite set of yours, really fucking good
you're not wrong about that last track either, gonna keep an eye out for that
thanks AZ, Nacht for posting and thanks for the listens folks. Really big thanks for the hosting Sushi, take it easy, beers on me.

Albertino sucks!
d/ling.
awesome pooky.
ps deep anal mix...ill bite (and poke)
clovis its not my favourite track in the world, but the mix into it kind of changes that for me. I found that hominid layered really well over it and it was fun to do the bass switch every 4 bars to add a different vibe to the beginning.
christ how many alts are you gonna have kid.
alright. wasn't too into it until the 18 mins (or so) mark, really picked up and kicked in gear for me then.
two more moments of note 33:30ish was amazing tune. also 42:30ish and until the end of the set. in fact i'd say the last 18 minutes of this were by far the best. as far as tune preferences.
mixing is solid and you always find new ways to blend sounds together. question - when mixing do you bring in/take apart different levels (lows, mids, highs, etc.) cuz it sure doesn't sound like a straight-forward blend sometimes. very classy.
Thanks for the review bud. I know your tastes are deeper so i can completely understand what you mean in terms of track selection at the begining. Germany kind of gave me a new look on things and have me enjoying some of the more abstract stuff.
As far as the mixing, i have to say it really depends on the track and the medium im using. For instance on cdj im much more likely to use kills and quick switches (freq wise) since i can easily drop a track in on the first beat without the use of headphones. Vinyl is a little trickier so i do fade and baby the transitions a bit more constantly eq ing, but it really depends on the track and if i want to bring more energy (big change) or keep the pace without doing anything drastic in terms of tempo shift. I just try and do something different everytime or else i get bored and stop trying. Also diff phrasing.
ps im not an alt, im the ghost of xmas past. (listening to your set after the nhl trade deadline is ova)
