Begginers guide to synthesis
Hello all,
I just wanted to let everyone know that I have uploaded some synthesizer tutorials on my site for begginers. So if anyone doesn't know anything about synthesizers, and would like to learn a bit then this guide is a good start. More info at: www.adamszabo.com .Enjoy!
Adam thank you for the information
Thanks for sharing mate
, it's always interesting to read some synthesis tuts, specially coming from an awesome sound designer like you.
Any new banks in the pipeline dude??
Unfortunately not at this moment. Too much match in school
Adam can i juast ask
In FL, is there somehow a way to click on the chordspace notes in real time and have them record into the piano roll?
It wont let me do it the way you would do it with a midi keyboard for example
Unfortunately no
You need to load a synth which has a built in keyboard, and there you can see which chord it plays, and you have to record it manually. You can always complain to image-line, to fix this
Cool site im definately gonna read the tutorials! By the way very off topic but is that my cat on ur desk?! Looks exactly like mine lol. I will try and upload a picture.
Thanks a lot for this, gotta check this out
Thank you kindly
Just went through the tutorials, very good basic overview of stuff. Well done, if you really wanted to make some unique tutorials I suggest going a bit more in depth on Effects. Im always looking around for good tutorials on verb, delay, chorus etc. They seem to be rare for some reason!
Thanks Dj Nacht,
Well, I didnt want to make some deep guide on the effects since this is about synthesis after all
Oh and post a pic of your cat, is it blue-er that mine?

Humm my first time posting a pic on a forum actually, hope it is an ok size!
Thanks - just downloaded and digging into now. Appreciate it.
I see your cat also likes to get free keyboard massages
