Catchy tune, apparently "tecktonik" style dancing, some new trend in France.

Discuss.

PS: This is the Tepr mix. All you DJs, pick this up and start playing it, thanks in advance.

worthless without the dancing

Love the track! The dance is also really cool but you can hardly do it at a club. You'd be slapping people in the face, the gut, etc. Too many wide arm movements.

Also wtf is with those tight tight pants?! That's so bloody ugly! UGH! I wish that style would just go away

Tecktonik appeared in France in 2000 in Paris in a nightclub called Metropolis. It borrows heavily from elements of glowsticking, and hip-hop dance moves including popping and locking, vogueing and wacking. Tecktonik was featured prominently at the 2007 Paris Techno Parade on September 15. It is popular at Gay Pride events in France and was notably so at the event in Nantes and Lyon in June 2007, although it is not specifically associated with the gay subculture.

I think this guy in the pink is pretty good.

I didn't think this would ever happen but I actually like this dance more than the Melbourne Shuffle.

I miss Europe

Tell me though which one do you like best?

That Melbourne stuff looks alright but its too much jumping up and down for my taste but I respect peoples taste in dance.

Btw, I was looking at the website for the guy in pink in the video you posted. The dance he does is actually called MilkyWay. It takes elements from tecktonik but it's more fluid and uses elements of the moonwalk, etc. It's also danced to a different genre. Tecktonik is danced to techno mostly or hardstyle. MilkyWay is danced to house, electro, etc.

That tune is catchy as fuck, but I'd have to say the dance doesn't really do it for me.

Speaking of dance crazes, kinda funny how someone pointed out the Melbourne Shuffle! That one's apparently been around for ages but now it's just catching on.. That video above shows it off, but some people go right the fuck off the deep end when doing it - Youtube it, and you'll see what I mean.

And while on the subject of dance..

Finally something to take over that stupid Solja boi dance

yeah... if u like Yelle, u really should check out some of the recent dance hits from Europe....

it's pretty clear that dance music is coming back in the USA ... and around the world...

and everyone knows that the hottest stuff comes from the euros.....check this compilation series on itunes, for example, extremely nasty stuff:
