deadmau5 and others touring?I

I've heard rumours, and I don't know if there's any validity to them, (for which I am looking into it) that deadmau5 and some other djs might be doing a bit of touring together, and one of the djs has asked me if there are any promoters and venues that might be interested in bringing them here. If I can verify any of this, any of you guys want to help me out?

I'm not contacting twisted or solid, if they want this they can do it themselves, I'm sick of sending twisted information and them either having their hands tied for various reasons or simply don't even get the messages, either way I've only ever gotten ONE email back from them ever, and it was to say they'd get back to me. LOL.

As I said this could just be a bunch of bullcrap or smoke and mirrors or a pipedream, but if it's true...

(Looking at Deadmau5' info, he's pretty booked in March, but there are gaps in april and may, nothing for june and only two bookings after that). (And yes I'm trying to figure out who these 'other djs' are as well, info is sketchy, which is making me really doubt all of this, I'd give it like 10-20% chance of being anything but bull).

Didnt he just come here? Is he pulling the old I'm-Armin-and-I'm-going-to-vancity-2-3times-a-year...cant wait for this...good venue too! With that being said I couldn't agree with DJ Commisad more on the Twised rant...I can relate. The problem with twisted is they have no or very little competition, so they can conduct themselves whichever way they want without having to answer to anybody, whatever though, I really dont want to get into it...its that can of worms that shouldnt be opened, at least not this time.

Yeah, I think I vaguely recall him being here recently? Maybe not? I don't remember. I don't get out much. I'm usually busy on weekends and weekdays I work so.... meow.

'twas a few days after blank & jones. (edit: @ the beginning of october.) but i never went. i think a lot of the folks on here did, though.

keep on gigin' while he's hot. Hopefully he can make a new synth sound
to stay fresh, cause honestly most of his productions and remixes sound
alot of the same bunch to me. Still sound good, but how long can you ride that one bass line ..

Inpetto. Deadmau5. BSOD. obviously same guy, similar elements, but different sounds/interpretations. He might have other alias' or collaborative projects too that I'm unaware of.

He isnt popular among djs and industry guys because hes supposed to be a big cocky ass, but man I love his productions. He'll be back soon because he's CANADIAN, so its easy to get in the country. Also, great to hear some otehrs griping about electro. Deadmauzzzz. Dave spooozzzzzz. Hehezzz.

maybe he is, maybe he isn't, i make attempts here and there not to judge people unless i know them, as i'm sure you do too. yeah, i've heard from a couple he's got a bit of a complex, but i don't know that for sure, since i don't know the guy. regardless, he's got a great sound, and he's diversified the type of tracks/styles he'll remix (deadmau5, inpetto, bsod, etc)

Last time i've seen him (and from vids or pics from shows/events after) he's been using the lemur inplace of the xone

Nope, I thought his set was pretty shit. Just no thought to the order of the tracks, and the mixes we really jerky/sudden. You could tell he hadn't played out much. I made that same comment in a topic about him in the music discussion, and he responded to me with some weird comment about getting decks and becoming a real dj to get respect or something...
