Major earthquake hits Britain

Last night the UK suffered its worst earthquake for 25 years which registered 5.3 on the Richter scale.

The quake strook at 12:56am and was even powerful enough to wake me up!

The country is in absolute pandemonium this morning! It's crazy!

The earthquake was felt throughout the middle of England and into parts of Wales. Millions of people were not effected and thousands of properties remained undamaged. However, the UK's most powerful earthquake for 25 years did claim one casualty as a man from Barnsley suffered leg injuries as a chimney collapsed and fell on him.

Charities across Turkey and Pakistan are frantically trying to collect money in order to bring aid to the survivors of the '08 earthquake, anybody wishing to dontate to this tragic freak event may do so by contacting the Red Cross/Crescent/Oblong

Wow, that's horrible. My thoughts go out to the people of Great Britain at this difficult time. As the owner of a chimney (a very nice one) I can only imagine the sort of pain that you're all going through right now...

I agree there are however plenty of legitimate charities in which one can donate...............

In a country full of people who already suffer daily with bad teeth, this tragedy can only hurt all that much more.

That being said, normally I would say; "Smile Britain, it could always be worse". But the truth is, your smile would MAKE it worse.

Well to be honest as I'm still feeling a little bit tired cos it woke me up an hour after I went to sleep so I'm still feeling the effects but don't worry, I'm sure we'll all be able to find some kind of normalcy soon...
