Scratching on efx 1000
Firstly, I know how to do it. However, the problem I'm having is not affecting the other channel that is also coming through the mixer then the unit (i.e. with the transform function.) The only way I can see it happening is to have the unit applied to one cdj that I want to scratch with. Surely not? Have I set it up incorrectly?
Advice would be great guys...
And any good videos of getting 'more' from this unit would be welcome. (I have seen the zabeila and deck.co.uk ones already)
Cheers!
make sure you're using the send/return feature on your mixer and NOT just connect the efx to your master/record out
i have just connected it to the main master out.
I dont see where else for it to go to enable both channels to operate out of it.
I have the djm400
Cheers

So that's that then?
without send/return you can't manipulate them individually...
you now have 2 options, either put the efx between the master out and the speakers (which will give you the option have effects on the master out).. OR.. you can setup the efx between one of the cdjs and the mixer letting you have effects ONLY on that particular cdj..
