Wipeout HD

Check out the trailer for Wipeout HD.

The game will support Custom Soundtracks.

I read on another forum that there is a WipeOut HD (similar to Gran Turismo HD) and, later, Wipeout 5, but I never seen anything official on that.

^^^ it's always been 60 fps. ( NTSC standard 60Hz display) Now if it doesn't lag like the previous one, it might be good. Let's hope for an outstanding soundtrack though..

I think you are correct. I'm not sure if WipeOut HD is a remake, but I'm pretty sure that WipeOut HD is NOT WipeOut 5.

I'm pumped as all hell for this.

i'll be all over this one.

i've had:

wipeout 1 (sega saturn)
wipeout 1 (ps1)
wipeout xl (ps1)
wipeout 3 (ps1)
wipeout pure (psp)

never owned a ps2 so i never got the wipeout fusion but i'll definately cop this one

And you would know this....how?

It hasn't been released yet. Anything you might have played is a beta at best.

I got it from Ebay for $1.99. I should've spent it elsewhere.
It's seriously horrible. Aside from Papua New Guinea on the soundtrack, it's worthless junk.
