Oh I agree!!!!!

IM sooooo happy for Guetta though, I missed him the other time so Im definitly in this time. Thank god Carter joined eh, he's totally updating us! haha

Posted by forever2day on Feb-27-2008 22:21:

Why on EAAAAAAARTH would it be at Caprice!???

Posted by xtr3m on Feb-27-2008 22:41:

I guess this is for when Blueprint can't book a DJ on a Friday and have to resort to clubs other than Celebrities.

Was the Fedde le Grand show any good?

Posted by forever2day on Feb-27-2008 22:45:

I didnt go to Fedde, but I went to Luke Fair which was at Caprice and I just think its WAY too small for someone like Guetta.....

Posted by xtr3m on Feb-28-2008 06:28:

$55

Posted by ktracid on Feb-28-2008 16:32:

i would go but... 55 for a tues show... pfff... no thx

Posted by myth on Feb-28-2008 19:08:

they must be nuts
$55 on tuesday
it was $25-30 last year on friday
pffff is the right word

Posted by xtr3m on Feb-28-2008 19:41:

In other words "F*** me, he's really got famous"

Posted by myth on Feb-28-2008 19:42:

that's a good one
either that or blueprints getting greedy
it's a small venue tho, and blueprints usually don't usually charge you arms and legs, so my guess it's a combination of his fee + the venue.
btw, how's amsterdam?

small venue?? can't be much smaller than celebs....last year was my favorite show of the year, but for $55 fuck that noise. And the week before Tong and Sanchez..forget it.....and the Caprice is rubbish.

Ummm..are you KIDDING me? Caprice is sooooo small, much smaller then Celebz forsure!!! & its gonna be so packed for this show, it'll be even more sweaty/hot & disgusting..

I just bought my Guetta ticket, & now im actually thinking about it...it came to around $72, do I really wanna pay that much for a DJ that comes every year..at a shitty venue..on a weekday? ........ I dunno..its too late now anyway lol

QFT. My feelings exactly. Still, Guetta is at the top of my list at the moment. So, whatever. It's only money.

Posted by krysx25 on Mar-02-2008 00:19:

All this is nuts boys and girls. $55 on a Tuesday is geared for Yaletown yuppie dipshits.
Obviously Guetta is pricey but this is just fucking stupid.

Posted by Phatbacki3 on Mar-02-2008 05:01:

anyone got tickets for it
give me a holla !!

Posted by Maxis on Mar-04-2008 03:07:

What is it lately with these weekday dates? S&D on Wed, Benassi on Wed, Guetta on Tue. What's next? Armin monday, tiesto Thursday? Worst thing is that the prices haven't gone down. Are promoters abusing the system, knowing how desperate vancouver crowd is for popular acts? Cause paying more than $50 for a weekday show, plus a day off work/school, seems like tooooo much.

Posted by jussed on Mar-04-2008 04:38:

I'm pretty sure if you look at all these guys' tour schedule you will see LA/San Fran, New York and probably Toronto/Montreal as cities that get weekend dates. No matter how much you love this city, we're not at their level of a crowd for any of these shows nor do we have the venue to fill enough to offset the high prices.

Posted by krysx25 on Mar-04-2008 20:09:

Julian makes a valid point. Van needs a bigger venue to hold weekend massives in. While no one dares to build one as the city keeps going back and forth on regulations, or so I'm told. Also, I have no idea who introduced the 2am
alcohol curfew, I blame the conservatives

I like Europe though!! It's party town baby!

Posted by Robot Rock on Mar-11-2008 04:58:

We usually get the weekend dates if the djs stop in Calgary, Edmonton or Winnipeg...if they don't we get the weekday dates.

I remember Paul Van Dyk at Plush on a SUNDAY night...club was supposed to close at MIDNIGHT. luckily he played till nearly 12:45...we felt lucky......and then went and tried to wind down with some old fashioned late night beach chillin

Blueprint Events has just received word from David Guetta that his flight to Vancouver has been delayed.

It is possible that David would not arrive at The Caprice until as late as 2:45am, if at all.

We regret this is as much as you do.

MAKE-UP DATE
We are working with his management right now on a make-up date for this event. Please hold on to your tickets as they will be good for this show. We will be providing more information about this in the very near future.

For those of you who do not want to attend the make-up show, Full Refunds will be available as soon as we have decided the course of action with his management.

Please be patient with us as this does take a bit of time.

Any questions or concerns about refunds, please contact:
Clubzone: [email protected]
Blueprint: [email protected]

This is an unfortunate part of the business, and we will do everything we can to get David Guetta back to Vancouver as soon as possible.

TONIGHT
For the people that are excited to go out tonight, entrance to the Caprice will be FREE with DJ Timeline playing. There is a chance David Guetta will arrive near the end of the night. He still very much wants to play, and The Caprice has offered to keep the club going until 3:30 am.

There has been another message posted on the official Facebook page telling that David might make it in time but it just got deleted. Think for yourself.
