PES2008 vs. FIFA 2008
this is for all you console soccer fans.. have had Ea Sports FIFA 08 for eon's on XBOX360, however bought PES2008 yesterday, and of course still trying to get my head around it.
So what are peoples comparisons of the two?? Which do you prefer and why...
Graphics wise, i feel that FIFA looks much better, however perhaps i am overlooking a video/display setting...
thoughts???

I've been playing PES since the very first ones came out and i've ALWAYS preferred it to the Fifa series, but when it comes to the 08 release of both games Fifa shits all over PES
The gameplay styles seem to have switched in my opinion and what the hell is with the 1 frame per second replays in PES08? So shabby
fifa08 plays and is visually the best of both imo. Everyone's different, but when I played fifa08 and then later on pes 2008 I just couldn't bear the gameplay in pes. it's more arcade like to fifa's 'real life' dynamics....those with fifa08 on ps3, we should start an online league!?
So the roles have reversed then? Havent played 08 yet coz I havent worked out how to get my gamepad work. Fucking EA. Useless.
before 08 i thought PES was definitely the better game, but for a casual player like me i chose fifa coz its just easier to play.
I have always preferred Pro Evo on PS but I have been playing Fifa08 on xbox flat out every day at a mates place and its unreal. Havent played PES2008 on PS3 yet. From the reports doesnt sound as good 
Should I buy an xbox or PS3?
and have people been playing PES2008 in HD?
urk.. i feel bad that i purchased PES08 now.. :S
definitely get a 360 lister .. its all subjective and personal experience etc but the xbox imo is way better
Interesting. PES has always been better but now I need to try both of these out.

dude you have to get a ps3, there's one game that should be the priority when it's released Gran turismo 5. shit I bought the ps1 and ps2 just mostly for this.
played pes 08 once it came out, it played ok but i'm addicted to fifa, i've played every single fifa since 98. I'm currently playing fifa08 on Manaager mode on 7th Season and loving it 
pana - not to mention metal gear solid 4 
only poor people play with consoles

have to say... playing drunken PES2008 is a fcukload more enjoyable then playing drunken fifa08....

lol pana, i think pc's were doing 1080p in the year 2000. the whole "HD" gimmick is just a new tv fad.
that said, that's not the strongest selling point of a ps3:
- plays ps3 games
- is not an xbox360.
yeah, even im thinking of getting one
