[house] Pjotr G - Throw your House

Hey people,

I made another house track:
http://www.whiteroachproductions.nl..._Your_House.mp3

As always, I would like to hear what you think of it

Hey man this is awesome. Excellent production. I love that funky flangered guitar that comes in at about 1:40. Is that a guitar sample or you playing? I'm dying to create a house track for once and include some guitar licks like that.

For me I'd prefer the track to do some completely new from about 2:50 so like introducing a completely new lead or something. The vocal eventually got on my nerves a bit.

Structure and mixing is very good though. Nice track.

it's not me playing, it's a cut-up disco loop with a phaser over it. tnx for listening

If I disregard the fact that I absolutely HATE this sort of "house music is (...)" vocals, I can say without a doubt that this is awesome. Well done.

Love house music, love this!!!

how come more and more tranceproducers are going to do house?

however, the track sounds really pro, has everything a housetrack should have anno 2008. good luck with it!

Freaking awesome!

Going to give this to my mate to spin it in his gigs.

+1, this is great, but I'd love a dub or instrumental version of this to play out.

TBH I want to do everything. It's not like I'm limited to house now.

That's a really big kickdrum! Love it. This would work on the dance floor! Oh and regarding that person's comment about more people from trance going to house, I think certain persons may have developed a love for trance before they realized house existed? that was the case for me personally, I suppose I was too musically naive or inexperienced (5 years?) to realized house was the shit... also I started to love to dance to house and shit... that's why house is amazing. Trance I would say is also a lot more cerebral! House is more body sometimes it seems. Like this guy's track is more body sounding, that kick drum will go through you like X-rays and shit! boom shaka boom shaka

Overall, good production, no complaints here...

hey, maybe you should also do some remixes or edits of this track, like with various intros or breakdowns...

Will probably drop this early this weekend...

Posted by Nemesis44 on Mar-12-2008 12:10:

Nearly missed this...

A really nice track.
Will definately try dropping this.

The only thing that perhaps bugs me a little is that the bass seems a little understated but that is a question of personal preference and of course as always may sound very different on a sound system.

Cheers
Nem

like the percs, cleanly produced,

won't stick tough

Posted by Az on Mar-14-2008 01:57:

why in the fuck aren't you massive yet?
you've been producing some of the best tracks I've heard from this forum for as long as I care to remember
this tracks not exactly my sort of thing, but can definately see the merit.
I want more techno from you.

Very hot track, man. Not a fan of the spoken vocals myself but they'd work well in a house club because it gives the crowd something to shout along to, and of course that kickdrum is just devastating in all the right ways, great work.

Uh yeah, why *aren't* you huge yet..?

1) I'm not very willing to do concessions in my music

2) I think digital releases are worthless

3) I hate promoting myself, I rather make music

4) Apparently I'm not THAT good

edit> oh and thanks for sticking feathers up my ass

Haha you're most welcome dude. hey, someone's gotta blow smoke up there if the labels aren't gonna recognise.

Sure digital releases aren't all that profitable but at least you're still getting your sound out there to an audience wider than TA... And the standard of this tune alone is much higher than some of the shite you hear on offer in digital stores. Fair enough if you're just not making music for that reason though.
