Jeff Healy, RIP

Good Bye Jeff, Good bye Legend.

Having grown up on Rhythm & Blues, this is truly a tragic loss.

This is very sad news. He was an awesome musician and an amazing representative of the Canadian music scene.

It would be one thing if the tasteless joke was actually funny.... but it wasn't. So instead you just made yourself sound like a fucking retard.

R.I.P. to a massive talent.

agreed. Canada lost of it's finest ever musical talents.

Seriuosly, who can master the guitar the way he did, teaching himself at 4 years old, while being blind at the same time.

I heard about it this morning, although I never listened to any of his stuff (going to check it out now) what I read was truly inspiring.

Rest in Peace.

its amazing how he survived so long in his state but yes a sad loss indeed..

its odd of him passing away since just over the weekend I had a long talk with a friend telling him all about the guy and then this...

PS. its Healy not Heally

RIP indeed... odd considering I found myself thinking about him yesterday for no apparent reason - very odd.

And to the joker making fun of him - he died at 41 of cancer, after suffering with it for years. I fail to find the humor in this. Sad, man - just sad.

Is this the same guy that sang a song about "angel". I remember hearing it and watching the video. Good song, sad to hear him go.

while at work i found out from a co-worker and was not pleased about this.

RIP and that "joke" up there was pretty lame

I had just bought the "see the light" album on vinyl.and wanted get it signed for a friend at his bar. sucked to hear the bad news, i hear he put on some great jazz concerts in toronto.

RIP

They had him on the news last night and were talking about his career and son who had the same cancer he had as a boy that caused him to go blind.... it is really quite sad. He certainly was a guitar legend!

RIP

Jeff will always be one of Canada's greatest musical talents. Someone who always stayed true to his roots and never let success over ride his true ideals. He gave back to his fans through weekly community radio shows and his famous bar Healy's.

RIP
