What is the biggest thing you've procrastinated about, successfully or not?

Can anyone say that they've put off a vital project until the last minute? How big was this project, and did you pull it off or did it bite you in the ass?

Me: 15-20 page research paper. Due tomorrow. Status: 0 pages. Class starts at 8am.

I honestly don't know how this happened. We also had a test that I completely forgot about, and if I wasn't smart enough to print out my assignments for that class beforehand I would have gotten 0 for assignments. I didn't even remember the test, I just printed out my assignments as busywork. I'm lucky.

Papers worth 20 - 30% of a semester average. Sometimes I pulled it off, other times it bit me in the ass.

Nice. I have a six page paper due tomorrow and haven't done much on it. But I think I'll be able to finish it with some luck.

Sure you do. You didn't want to do the paper, so you did other stuff.

I thought it was due on the 10th or 11th, or something like that. See, I mixed up the date of the finals with the due date of the final paper if that makes sense.

So we have an exam/presentation next week, but the paper is due this week. Since I thought both were due next week, I was planning on doing it this weekend. But I messed up.

So why the heck are you on TA if you have a 15-page paper due tomorrow? Or are you just giving up entirely?

I don't know, I started writing a few sentences. I will settle down completely in a few minutes though.

Before, I thought I was typical, but I think it's a mental disorder I have.

Look at this:
Ever since I graduated high school, every time I attempt to do work before ~3 P.M., I can't. I just idle and float around, just like how I was in high school. It's only after 3 P.M. that I can start work. There's still a risk of procrastinating, but that's just how it is.

This might sound strange, but it seems like my work habits have been seriously influenced by school. I can't get out of that cycle, it's like my mind is too used to doing nothing all day then fucking around for a bit before doing homework and calling it a night.

Weird.

But i got through it.

There is nothing I have not handed in time. I ve busted my ass off the prvious night and early morning but I've finished it in the end.

I always pull it off. It would help if I didn't do well, because my good marks only validate/enable my behavior, lol.

I have 3 papers to do this month, and for the first time in my life I've actually already started them well in advance, woo! Now watch me get shit marks on them.

I am currently in the pains of procrastination consequences. I needed to show up for class to pick up screenplays from my group, as well as give them copies of mine. We are supposed to turn in a critiqued copy of each one next week. Fuck.

I've never been able to do homework during the day. Ever. Its always been exclusively a nighttime activity. Even if I'm behind on several different things spanning several different activities, work will not commence until after 6PM.

I once did in literally 5 mins what class mates had spent 2 weeks on. "that's due today?" And beat them all.

"A very clear and concise report."

Fucking right it was you'd keep it concise too if you only had 5 mins including print off time!!! But my 2 page report had it all while their 20 pagers were full of padding and shit.

Used to submit all my reports on another course electronicly and to the min used to hit 5.00pm every time.

Also once learned an entire programing language (well.. enough to do the program) in an afternoon too. "You are fucking joking it's this Wednesday?....but...wait...isn't today Wednesday".

Never even cheated, not once. Though a lot of the "try hards" did and got worse marks.
