Where are you headed this weekend?

I'm looking for ideas and seeing where the crowd is headed!

Posted by verndogs on Mar-05-2008 03:37:

Seriously, it's getting really annoying that you make these asinine threads over and over. Why don't you just read the Party Planner thread and read the different threads in this forum for events coming up this weekend?

Sat 3/8 Jody Wisternoff - Sullivan Room
Sun 3/9 Hangover - My Bed

I'll be at Sullivan Room on Saturday for sure. I'll probably check out Damian Lazarus @ Love for a bit as well that night.

we will all be partying while you'll be moderating the Sports forum

moderator noob

Remember if you go to a knicks game record(18-42) just realize:
Knicks payroll

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this.

I'm also shocked you got out of the political forum

Too bad I can't do the same for the Knicks

And see more of these "What are you doing this weekend?" threads from you? Uh, no. These threads are really a slap in the face to Tom/EnigmaT (since he's been continually updating the Party Planner thread for years) and to the other TAs who contribute to the event threads.

Posted by kingchinc on Mar-05-2008 04:51:

i did a math report on fibonacci in high school once....honestly papers have no place in a high school math class

I think considering it a slap in the face is abit drastic, but fair enough I'll restrain myself. It is just a forum thread.

dude you have no game.

chilling with the mormons in salt lake and park city

Posted by phoenixBEBE on Mar-05-2008 05:32:

i think this thread is ok but i do agree about looking at event-specific threads on who is going where.

hoping to go to SD this weekend but it depends on finances and whether we finish a few things that need to get done. if not, then staying local, going to the gym and whatever else comes up.

hey guys... i'm an Atlanta TA here and i will be vacationing to NYC from Saturday-Wednesday this weekend and I can't wait! i could use your local advice (and just to give u a little background, the friends I will be with are not really into into house but are definitely up for going out Saturday and partying it up). SO, with that said, I get to do all the planning for Saturday night/afterhours!

Should we, 1.) Check out the Sullivan Room, or 2.) Goto Pacha for Victor Calderone's birthday bash thing? I think I will definitely be going to Moomia to see a friend spin for afterhours (I think it's from 10am-6pm on Sunday). Anyhow, thanks a lot, and please, any feedback would be nice!

It really depends on what type of experience you want to give to your friends. Sullivan Room is a smaller room with locals spinning and Pacha is going to be a big and super packed.

I would pick Sullivan Room

you wanna see some NYC culture. Come to Webster hall. Each floor is a suprise.

Pacha is good if you like spending 10$ or greater for drinks. My friend always used myspace guest list and that would help big sometimes

Do Sullivan Room first, then Pacha for afterhours, and by afterhours, I mean late late late... That shit will go on way past 8, 9, 10 in the morning...

i'm still in there; it's addicting, although that exchange on the estate tax was draining. i'm still confused about the point that guy was trying to make.

you can be sure i'll be on the MLB thread in the sport forum all summer.
