You're clearly just not paying attention.

I've seen him plenty of times and never once had a bad time, nor did it appear that many of the others did either.
I realize, however, that talking shit about Max is very much en vogue on this forum, so no worries.

Edit: And taste schmaste - have either of you seen and or heard him play recently?
I hate to make assumptions, but I'm pretty sure there's at least a fair bit of overlap between what he's playing and what Clovis is charting.
I can't speak for Jay, as I don't really know or tend to like most what appears on his "This week in Berlin" charts.
That smells like omg you are a h8er why don't you do better.

edit: Rob i used to fucking love Max Graham when he was a nobody and resident at local clubs. Undoubtedly he has appeal to a certain market, but among the best in the world for a guy who wrecked more than the monsters in rampage is silly.
he's had a bunch of his new stuff played on Tong's show and i know i've seen support from the usual big guys
he's got a pretty good newsletter too(naked pics & all)

I'm just trying to stir shit, because max and i used to fight like lovers in the mtl forums and i was hoping this could rekindle our flame. (search tis true) I know he will read this because he googles his name 15 times a day. After Owner of A Lonely Heart I think he should remix some Luba, Gino Vanelli, or perhaps the theme song to Degrassi Jr High.
Plus there is a vicious rumour that he touched Mark Asbey when he was a child. (search lol)
ps no one in their right mind thinks sven is still good.

I think he's a great producer but nothing beats his classics like Airtight, Bar None, and Tell You. It's funny because I remember reading a post of his a few years back here where he bashed the crap out of those tracks for sounding so amateurish, production-wise. His sound has definitely gotten crisper and more advanced over the years, but I still love those classics anyway.
Tiesto even played Airtight in a recent set.
Agree with Rob on this one, seen the guy 3 times in the last year and has never dissappointed. He knows how to make a club go nuts, and you can really tell he's loving what he's doing and it gets transmitted to the crowd.
And "wreck-wise", never heard a wreck from him in the 3 times I've seen him. The guy uses Ableton, for fucks sake! Clearly you are talking out of your arse.
He wasn't always an ableton dj.
I will say, however, that I also haven't really been a fan production wise for the past couple years.
I really, really have a soft spot for him as a DJ though - the atmosphere at every show of his I've been at has been sick.
Again though, personal preference, "courses for horses", and so on - and I have also heard the rumor about Az.

^^^^
i remember that thread and it was gold.
I will say Max is among the most entertaining Dj/Producers TA has ever seen in terms of his humour.
And he takes criticism like a fucking champion.
I don't know - I should probably just out and out admit it, I'm a bit of a Max G fanboy.
As such, my opinions on him should probably be disregarded
