Afterhours in LA ornear by????

I'm still pretty new to LA and was just wondering if there are any afterhours clubs in LA (or even OC or San Deigo) Im from the east coast and used to travel up to clubs in montreal (stereo, circus, Aria b4 it closed) and im lookin for the same thing around here but not quite sure if or where its at?? any help that would be great!!

Avalon goes tell 6am or later every Sat. night. Vangaurd tell 4 and Circus tell 4.

hmmm so no afterhours club? the events are definitly something (esp. underground) but im looking for something that starts at 2am and goes till 12 in the afternoon haha maybe those days are over...
