Editing/Joining Video Files

Is there a free tool for doing such a thing? HJSplit doesn't work very well for video files, and I'd actually like an app that allows me to select and delete portions of the videos as well.

They're portions of a recorded PowerPoint presentation with the audio interlaced, now AVI files, which I need to combine into one file.

Thanks in advance...

Fast AVI Splitter
All Video Splitter

Just to name two programs. Both are freely available.

If its a divx (or xvid), then you will have a harder time joinging them, as it is a compressed format. You will have to uncompress, join, re compress.

Either way, the best piece of software you want to use is Virtual Dub. Free, and super powerful.
