I don't really know any other sites. I usually just use this one and mindphaser.

That site has fucked up html code + it's slow I hate sites which jam my browser, pop a zillion new windows + several JavaScript errors. Why can't people keep it plain and simple (= fast, readable, easy to navigate, lightweight) but they jack around with every trick in the book (usually failing in it)... this whine applies to millions of webpages out there.

it's a pretty cool site. it has lotsa live sets by underground djs or otherwise unknown ones. good to check out once every so often to see what's rollin' in the underground. oh and it has live internet radio broadcasts as well as for download of older ones. pretty hype.

www.raremusicfinder.com is the best site. Definitely.
It has got the newest stuff online first, and it has got enough members with quality collections of mp3.
Too bad it is temporarily offline now, but when it's online again, you should definitely go visit it!

Don't think so...... I know for sure that raremusicfinder.com had all the livesets from the big events (Impulz, Trance Energy, Rosenmontags Rave) & newest albums (Armin Van Buuren - 002 Basic Instinct & lots of others) at least a couple of days earlier... They also provided all the sets at once, so not every 2 days a little update from a big event, ie all the TE livesets at once (and earlier)....

And I think I can compare these 2 sites, because I visit them at least once a day (it's a pity that RMF is down at the moment, but they will be back in a week...)

Like, i was one of the mayor uploaders for Raremusicfinder. I dont want to give myself too much compliments, but if it wasnt for me, RMF would have got far less new mp3z!
So i'm really making a goddamn contribution to the mp3 community!

Oke, it is true that i'm not the ripper of the mp3z myself, so the credits go out to other people. Some mp3-board/forum forget that fact. Release groups like BMI, TWCMP3, TRONIC, POW, MTC are the dudes that do all the work! THEY should be thanked! And the fact that some guys, like me, get it all on a 0-day ftp is just something else...

(btw, sorry, dont take this personal, but this is just something i had to say..)

Well, I can't deny that MTP has some new stuff, but most of it is also available on other sites... So it's not that exclusive.... The only thing that the guys from MTP do have is time to upload.... But I think, only 25% or less is real quality stuff on that site... While RMF has at least 75% quality stuff... And you can request stuff and trade with other people.... So it gives you a better option to expand your (quality) mp3 collection....

And -TAIS- raremusicfinder.com is waaay better (ofcourse) the mtp crew had the live sets really quick and provided it to many people. They still give us many working links. And yes ofcourse you can bitch about that. Why not huh?? It sounds cool?? I 2 can screw you over.. No problemo

JUST FUCKING RESPECT these people who put hours of their time in uploading and creating a nice site/community/whatever ESPECIALLY when you didnt contribute shit to it yourself

Well everything depends on what the website concentrates on, I'm doing my best to make my site the best, I'm sure Swamper is ALWAYS doing his best to make this site the best (and it IS arguably one of the best trance websites). In RMF's case, the site is member-driven, member participation is absolutely necessary and also FUN, since we share and trade some seriously nice mp3s, meaning it is quality members that bring quality mp3s to share, and it's definitely not me alone that runs the show, it's a sort of "Napster geared towards sharing more rare music", and how do we do it? By securing more quality members of course! So far member "Snuggle" has been the absolute GOD of bringing new trance, just visit his ftp and see how much new stuff he gets every day, even webmasters like me who collect shitloads of trance music can't keep up with his list, TOO MANY GOODIES :-)
However, we do need to give credits to ALL the webmasters and their sites, everyone has opinions, and yeah Snuggle we might think RMF is the best, but I know Speedman (the current mod for RMF) and the infamous DJ Rain himself have had major problems, because the site would always crash on their browsers. Only the forum would work for those and some other peeps, so for them, I'm sure RMF has NOT been the best site to visit every day.
Also about Mindphaser team, I give big props to Gravehard, because remember he brought us some rare stuff too
And is it that important to know where all the stuff gets offered first? Well it's definitely not Mindphaser, it's definitely not RMF, it's definitely not ANY websites, it's the original releasers, but who do we really give credit to? U decide, since everyone has different opinions

P.S. For all we know, Bill Gates NEVER developed his stuff, he stole or bought everything from Steve Jobs (the real genius in my opinion) and IBM, but he is the ultimate winner thus far, don't we agree?

P.S. RMF will be back with a NEW design, which will make everyone happy, no more bugs
