Food @ Pool Parties?

Anyone that has been to a Beatport National Hotel and/or Space Surfcomber pool party know if they will have food available? Will these hotels have restaurants/grills open that we will have access to w/out having to get back in line?

they both do. typical overpriced burgers for $10, etc.

Food at the WMC???

I had no idea.....

No we do make an effort to go out to dinner as a crew at least once. If you don't feel like hitting a pool party to eat try one of the Sushi places on SoBeach. Sushi Samba is A+ for food and people watching.

What is this "food" you speak of?

Who really eats durin WMC... I have barely enough time to sleep to even think about food.

Posted by j_love01 on Mar-11-2008 02:47:

Trust me, it's not easy to eat when so much else is going and the last thing you can think about is food...but man my body sure does thank me later. Less recovery time, better time the next day/night out, and I can dance w/out my brain and body being out of sync.

I've tried the liquid/substance of your choice diet for days on end partying and it works fine most of the time but recovering can be horrendous.

If I can scarf down some $10 overpriced burgers while dancing to some good tunes in the sun I'll be happy...

Ps: and I have a g/f that is very unhappy when she's hungry so guys help a brother out. Happy g/f = happy me

it would be great if all the clubs sold fruit...that would be a great little snack or whatever

what about vendors outside the clubs when they close? do any people post up and sell hotdogs like in new orleans? that would be awesome too...that way i dont have to go out of my way to get my eat on =)

i don't remember any hot dog carts...what you do have is a ton of pizza places that are open pretty much 24 hours. Pizza Rustica next to Cameo is awesome after a nite of partying.

you guys are nuts
food is always the first thing on my mind, and if my stomach's gurgling I can't do much else

But do yourself a favor and eat before or after you goto one of those parties. The food at them is shitty and overpriced. There are plenty of great places to eat on south beach that are near these places, and since it's during the day it's even easier.

RIP Rest Relax & Recover -- they had free food that was pretty sweet.

+1
I knew 2 people last year who got really sick because they didn't eat and drink enough. There are probably 50 places to eat within a block or two of Surfcomber.

I have a boyfriend who is the same way.

I like to pack snacks and bring them.. we brought a beach bag with us to the pool party last year and did not have a problem.

It is a safer bet then you know you have something.
