Made Event presents minimal dance connoisseur and internationally renowned DJ and producer Steve Bug at Cielo with Adultnapper on Thursday, March 20th.
With over 17 years of experience, Steve Bug is truly one of the unsung leaders and innovators of the German electronic music scene and beyond. His impeccable sets reverb with seductive and laidback funk, dirty retro bass lines and random bleeps, incorporating techno, electro and basic funk into bare house grooves creating moody minimal and seductive music for the dancefloor.
With three different labels under his helm, Bug is able to cross the bridges between house & techno with his deep house oriented Dessous and the much-respected Poker Flat Recordings, the number one source for stripped down futuristic sounds with amazing musical diversity. On his third label Audiomatique, Bug has founded a playground for modern styles of techno and house. In between A&Ring the three labels and promoting two high profile club mix compilations last year� �Fabric 37� from the esteemed club series and �Fuse presents Steve Bug�, Steve Bug is as prolific as ever. Dead Man�s Hand is a two-pair Poker hand, namely �aces and eights�. The hand gets its name due to the legend of it having been the five-card draw hand held by Wild Bill Hickock at the time of his mur*der (August 2, 1876). It is accepted that the hand in*cluded the aces and eights of both of the black suits. The draw was interrupted by the shooting, and he never got the fifth card he was due. Although some claim it was the 9 of Diamonds.

The Lord's going to have to give me some miraculous strength to sit this one out, especially since I just ditched the office life and only work 2 and 3 day work weeks now. Aarrgh! Hopefully he'll be back at DEMF this year, which I'm trying to hold out for. 'trying' being the key word

German dj's pwn. It's a fact! It was my first time seeing and even HEARING a Steve Bug set so all the music Guru's out there might say this wasn't his best. But, as a first timer... I did enjoy him the short while I was there.
Cielo is such a BOMB club. 3rd time there and it's just getting better and better. The parties on Thursday nights kick soooooo much ass.
It's a fact. I'd rather party on Thursday then on a weekend. [Atleast if it's @ Cielo ] Even work doesn't bother me while I'm half asleep with my oatmeal in hand!

My first time at Cielo and I'm really glad I went. I was very happy with the music, both Adultnapper and Steve Bug were on point. The crowd was nice too, compared to that in Pacha 
I don't know how different this is from regular nights there though, being a Made Event. I'll have to check out a Deep Space night. It did get pretty packed and at times I got annoyed from all the people walking through the dancefloor or just standing there taking up space and not dancing. And this one huge guy in a black tanktop waving his arms wildly (I'm sure whoever went noticed him 
)
anyway, I must say Cielo is now my favorite place in the city
Cielo is the truth. Glad you all enjoyed their sets. Believe me, I was at work at 3am, wishing I were there lol. I'll keep my fingers crossed for them both to play in Detroit in a couple of months. It's m_nus'10 year anniversary so I hear Movement is gonna have some great surprises in store
