This guy (from New York) is always in trouble and now he was found on a wiretap to be involved in a prostitution ring!!!! I love the way this country is going right now........LOL!!!

He has been in trouble before, which I am *assuming* is why people are pressuring him to resign. They only want "good christian role-models, who respect values and their wife and family".

Agreed, it much more of a personal issue, but at the same time the media DOES blow it up (which is unfortunate) but it still sucks that politicians (who make our laws and shit) are always getting into trouble like that. Its annoying to know that they expect people to act a certain way and do exactly what they tell people NOT to do.

The bigbest dumb-assery of all of this, was that he was on the phone with the bitch, and having her FLY OUT to DC from NYC. What, he couldnt find a local hooker for less money? What a waste, he coulda been spending that amount of money on *several* hookers........or his wife for that matter.

nobody wants a governor who cheats on his wife and lies and he tried to cover this up too.....me personally, i wouldnt ever respect a man who cheats on his wife, but if he ran NY state really good which he does, id be ok with him staying in position, thats more important.

same thing with bill clinton, the guy is an ass for cheating, but he was a good president.

I think people are focusing far too much on the sex part of this story... the real problem here is that he committed an indictable offence. I would have no trouble with someone who plays slap and tickle with someone other then his wife running the state (if I were a citizen); however, committing a felony demonstrates that he has considerably poor judgment.

Without even looking at the political issues...
He cheated on his wife, he deceived, he hurt the ones closest to him. He witheld money from his family, he broke a commandment, he lost trust by everyone. His act was an expression of his character. Good political handling will bounce him back, but for those like me who have discovered they have been cheated on. It's a sharp pain that would not give any forgiveness from me.
