Need some help!

Hi everybody,

Today I started on a track, and I thinks it sounds nice. But I really think it misses something, but I don't know what.

Can you guys help me out?

Nice kick... Effects and filtered lead-ins are a plus. The arp sounds somewhat dry and simple to me.

The bassline is a little drowned... just a little. It has a rolling flavor to it, but it does subtract from the kick a little. You could rescue it by laying a bass with more mid-frequencies in it -- maybe. It's all up to you, I'm a subjective reviewer, nothing more.

The arp indeed is a bit dry, it was just to get things started.

What you said about the bass is true, although there are already 3 different basslines in it (low-mid-high), maybe I should try out my equaliser to boost some of the mids. The mid bass is also sidechained, that could be the problem, I could also try lowering the ratio of the sidechain.
