doesn't have to be the most recent. but definitely accurate controls, play/A.I. etc?

The new FIFA is actually better than previous incarnations, but I still prefer PES.

If you're looking for official looking stuff/good sound track, go for Fifa.

If you want gameplay, go Winning Eleven/Pro Evolution Soccer.

lol... i love/hate commentary in footy games. Sometimes it's like they're trying to depict me as the most horrible and dirty squad in existence.
