Ok I got a question.
A few months ago my CD player got hit by something that fell on it.
Anyway everything was fine by now
But I cant seem to match beats all of the sudden, I dont know what it is
Me or the CD player, is there a way to check if they are accurate
Has anything like this ever happend to you?
well , to check it , put the same tracks in the 2 players and put them @ the same speed than you know if they are still the same or not
the thing that dropped on your CDJ-100 may have altered or kind of stuffed up the accuracy of your pitch control.
One sure test though, is getting 2 EXACTLY the same tracks together and testing them at the same pitch % (preferably anything besides 0.0 as you will be testing the pitch). Then just play them together and adjust their beats to be aligned and if they go off-time you got a problem on your hands...
But CDJ-100's are very tough.. but if yours isnt in particular, just return for warranty and explain the prob.
BTW, what did u drop on it?
Cheers
its not the cdj
its you

Well depends how severe the pitch variations are (if there are any, that is).
If you're having trouble with your tracks being *very slightly* out of sync, it might be the CDJ, but not because of the damage - it can only adjust the pitch in 0.1% increments, so some tracks might be impossible to get to the exact same tempo.
Other than that, it's probably you ... CDJs don't break that easily.
Well
first of all thanks
I Tried putting 2 same tracks in the same pitch and all was fine.
They didnt drift or anything.
I Guess it was just one bad day
BTW The thing that dropped on it was the adapter to my mixer
But it was a long time ago and I have been mixing good ever since, like I said
Probobly just one bad day.
Skywarp: I'm fremilier with that problem, I just wish they had something in between like
0.35 or something.
