Starcraft 2 Terrans Gameplay

Check out this 9 minute video of the Terrans gameplay from Starcraft 2.

dude that's almost a year old. Most of the stuff in there isn't even in the game anymore.

-Huge graphics overhaul with toned down colors
-Tech lab now speeds up production (rather than having 2 queues)
-Radar tower is out - it's abilities are now on the sensor tower by default, which now also reveals it's location to ennemies
-Battlecruiser plasma array is nerfed
-Banshee no longer does splash damage
-Thor is smaller, faster and now specialized against air
-Thor no longer has it's barrage cannons
-Cobra has been cut out
-Firebat has been cut out
-Terrans now have jackals, nomads and marauders which aren't mentioned in this video.

Umm, that video is new, It was posted on Gametrailers yesterday.

Wait...what? They changed all that?? Lame

ps. the video is old as hell.

I don't see how more useful and balanced units are lame. It's a pre-alpha demo, what do you expect? They're still going to change a lot more before release. Last I heard they were experimenting with removed medics.

The protoss had even more changes since their demo last may.

No, you're right. But I really liked some of the features of the units. And how could they remove the Firebats?? Bah!!

This is one thing that I hate about games being shown off so early. Everything needs to be taken with a grain of salt. I hope they still end up keeping ALL of the things they said they want to do outside of the battlefield.

I guess they're trying to fit in as much new stuff as possible, and every new unit that gets added means an old one gets thrown out, because they like to keep this magic number of ~15 units per race where every unit has it's own unique purpose and nothing overlaps. Firebat was thrown out and a couple of new units took over it's role. The marauder is a heavy infantry support unit that works well in combination with marines, and the jackal, a speedy vulture-like vehicle, inherited the flame throwers. This is pretty solid and will probably end up staying as is. Other crazy stuff they're currently experimenting with is having no medics and instead the dropship has a mechanical arm that lowers down and heals infantry. I have a feeling that won't make it though and the medics will come back eventually.
