I wish ottawa had 5 million people and not 700 thousand so they could have afforded gary roberts.. michael peca.. doug gilmour.. alexi yashin... adam oates....... when they wanted to get them. You would have every reason to brag if it was a fair league. Unfortunately, teams like the maple leafs can afford more than twice the senators salary and can therefore pick whatever players they want. That's the reality bud sorry.

sens, canadians or leafs, it wouldnt have mattered cuz the wings or avs would kill them in the final
