seems iriver problem
i used an in-car charger on my iriver H320 (which i've since learned is not good), now when ever I turn it on it's stuck thinking it's connected to the USB plug, so cannot use as a player. It'll connect to the PC fine and can move files on and off, so I could back everything up, have tried formatting the disc. I would load rockbox or new firmware on there but to do anything like that you can only do it through the player, not over the usb.
Any ideas ?
Does it have a reset button? I thought mine does (diff model)
I got my H320 when it first came out few years back and I gotta say I love it,amazing sound quality, with lineout going straight to my car sound system
Infact I love this thing soo much that I even got the H340 from Ebay not too long ago.
In regards to your concern,I never used the usb in the car if the bateery is running out I just hook it up straight from the AC input to the lighter jack.

was a 3rd party charger, so I'm trying to figure out if it's anything software could fix. I've since read somewhere about the charger having a different wiring setup, so could well have fried something.
if it's broken I'm probably going to look on ebay for the same model again, or maybe the 340. the ease of recording sets without having to boot a laptop, and take it straight tothe car to listen makes this so useful.
