Question What genre does Andy Moor cover?

I'm sitting here believing he is Progressive House. Am I correct, or should I slap myself on the head a bit with a large trout.

Progressive trance, I'd say.

yes and a little bit of prog house like his remix of Superfly by Yellow Blackboard

Posted by PezCore on Mar-15-2008 04:10:

tracks i know from him are for sure prog trance

Posted by FromAbove on Mar-15-2008 04:13:

I just thought House because his tracks are usually House bpm speed. I guess that's the only reason why.

Progressive Trance all the way.

Progressive trance for the most part indeed but some of his mainly older productions and aliases do go more into the progressive house or even tech house side, like for example Andy Moor - Passenger, Sworn - Dark Amendments or Sworn - U Don't Feel.

... the BPM of a track does not determine what genre it is.

melodic trance, progressive trance and "mcprog".

It's been a couple years since I last heard anything he has done but at that point it was progressive trance with some progressive house in the mix. I got the chance to see him dj twice and both times he played really great music and the mixing itself was great as well.

as a dj he played pretty much uplifting groovy trance, with some humour last time i saw him. when it comes to production i only know find and i call that vocal trance.

I'll say "asot trance"

Posted by Paradox Lost on Mar-16-2008 02:49:

Although he's largely Prog. Trance, his collaboration as Leama & Moor produced mainly Progressive House, and some truly fine Prog. House at that.

Definitely not ASOT as of late. If anything, I would say his style reflects the 'Prog.' themes that were being juggled around ASOT during its 2005-2006 run.
