Steve Forte Rio

Not sure if there's a topic about this yet, but I love the tune "a new dawn", absolutely incredible (video below)... Featured on EOL DVD and on ISOS.... The rumor is that Tiesto = Steve Forte Rio... Kinda crazy, but it sounds like Tiesto, and at his best, I love this tune; sounds like he's bringing back old Tiesto....

Someone on Youtube posted a comment about "Steve Forte Rio" containing all the same letters as "Tiesto Forever" (just switched around: an anagram).... Really interesting... What're your thoughts on the tune? I can't wait til it sees a full release!!

i like it, although preferred it in the context of the intro edit on ISOS6; it seem doesn't have as much effect in the youtube vid. still nice though, melodic & nostalgic without being cliched or overblown

well he's already resurrected jedidja since the last allure track.. (the result of which can be heard at the end of that vid). still, the more the merrier i guess.. i'm all for him trying out obscure guises that don't prioritise mainstream appeal

that was the "excuse" he gave for releasing the latest allure track... something to the effect of keeping it under the radar. but what BS is it when you don't want to reveal your alias yet the release says something to the effect of "tiesto presents allure"... give me a break. just release it either under your current tiesto alias or create a new one for shitty pop dance music... just don't ruin your allure alias. that track "somewhere inside" really diverted from the path allure releases used to be on.

anyway, really off topic now i guess. i was surprised to see that "a new dawn" had an extended version... always thought it was just an intro song.

makes sense, does 'he' have any other tracks besides the ones appearing on ISOS 5 and 6? 'People Will Go' is lovely, And I like the song in the vid too. Sounds actually trancey, I don't hear any shit vocals or crappy 'electro' basslines.

The song is cool and groovy. No big breakdown so it will def keep the crowd moving. It's also better than half the shit that has been out lately.

I just have a problem with his damn DVD's. They get me so sick. If only they could focus on things longer than 2.5 seconds.

yeah the intro edit works better for build up purposes... like used in isos 6. regarding most boring tunes i hardly feel trance is the genre at fault... minimal ftw there (for me).
