Common Sense

What is common sense?(UK dwellers will understand this)
a easy solution and answer to a mediocre problem

What is money?
It is a form of transfer of value to goods and vice versa

What is a country?
It is a land mass which is landlocked or an island, but which self governs

What is government?
It is a set of persons appointed or forced to rule the masses

What is dictatorship?
Where the masses are told how to live

What is democracy????????????
Where the masses choose who tells them how to live

Who runs the government?
A bunch of overpaid , out of touch , in there own world , old (post 60 YO)men and women who think that inner cities are like farming commuinities

What does this mean to you?
Nothing much , but i think crime control could be better

What is global warming?
It is a unproven phenomena which is creating alot of hype at the moment

How does global warming affect you?
It dosent,its still cold near april and the last snow was last week (10/03/2008)

Why am i being taxed silly on my car?
because the government see it as a way of making money

Why is the government seems to hate the working class?
Its all status and posh accents , the guys were bullied in school and want to show you who is boss

I want to buy a house but i cant?
You? buy a house , working class? buy house? (turns nose and sipps champagne)

Can celebrities run the country better?
in a word , YES

Why should our forces be deployed so far and wide?
Because our politians are bored and jobs rely on war

Why is everything we need taxed?
Solid income for the government

Why do people live bad for whatever reason but the government and rich live in comfort?
All greed

Why does no-one say anything?
I dont know

So what is common sense?
It would be to act ,but most people cant be bothered

Common sense are just definitions a group takes for granted. What's your point?

you're an idiot.

First, the opening post offers a number of questions with positions attached... it is those positions that I refer to. Clearly, reading comprehension is not your strong suit.

Second, I don't see how my signature is pointless. The very fact that you took note of it supports my position therein: Sig advertising works. Should you wish to advertise in my sig I am happy to negotiate rates with you.

Third, you really picked the wrong person to try and flame, as you will not get much (if any) support, nor will you win a battle of wits.

Thanks for your replies and i will now explain my post,
I am a manager and have a large team to manage.

One of my problems with employees is lack of common sense and after 7 odd years im wondering if common sense is inhereted through genes and why only certain people have it.

The question/answers in my first post were of annoying situations where common sense should prevale

But not one of you answered on of my questions in a common sense way but started to fall out with each other!

and i dont know who called who a fucking idiot but if it was aimed at me , it says intelligent converstation on the forum discription

But it looks like im right , it really must be a choosy trait to have

Celebrities run the country haha, 1 reply i know but come on i cant belive that nobody wrote more on that!!

And finally read my last words on my first post and do as intended in what common sense way would you handle the situations

Actually looking back over the OP I can kinda tell that it was written by a manager who has a large team to manage and one particular problem with the employees at that company is a lack of common sense...
