When are the Ibiza closing parties + other Ibiza questions!?

So, me and a few friends are going to Ibiza this year and I've been doing my homework on flights and hotels. I have a few questions for the people that have been to Ibiza before.

First, I was looking at planning the trip from the middle of August to the beginning of September and it was on the more expensive side. I then looked at a trip from the middle of September to the beginning of October and the flight plus hotel is almost $1300 cheaper. Are the parties not going on near the end of Sept? I always heard that the closing parties were in October but I need facts!

Next, if we're going for 14 days, how much have you guys spent on food, drinks and clubs? I'm planning on bringing $1500 for two weeks for all of that, should that be sufficient?

Lastly, would anyone recommend going near the end of September?

i have never been to ibiza before but from people ive talked to who have gone numerous times....$1500 is not nearly enough for 2 weeks there...i have heard u should have no less than 1500-2000 euros for a week there when u figure in club covers start at 40-50 euros u prolly need even more than that. also, from people ive talked to redbulls by themselves are somewhere between 8-12 euros...

My brother spent less then 2k within 16 days... it all depends on your spending habits. The 2k included hotel, food, booze, club tickets, car rental, etc (basically everything but the flight).

looll yea I can help.... for 1500 dollars in Ibiza you can see bas and clovis spin every night at the local cafe but its way too low if you wanna see real DJ'S

Im going for my first time this year. July 11-21
im figuring to spend $2500 for 10 days in ibiza for drinks, food, and clubbing.
