Too hot water sinks...

Ok this has been pissing me off ever since Jesus was born. Who the hell decided to design sinks to have scolding hot water??? THEY ARE MADE FOR WASHING HANDS SO THEY SHOULDN'T EVER GET ABOVE 100 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT! These aren't even kitchen sinks. Just sinks sitting in public bathrooms whose SOLE purpose is to wash hands...not boil top roman...just wash my fucking hands. When I wash my hands at an airport bathroom there is NO REASON that water should reach BOILING POINT!

WHAT THE FUCK???????????

I hate people soooooooo much.

[edit: disclaimer...solely referring to public restroom sinks, not home sinks, not kitchen sinks. ]

this annoys me too. I find myself switching between the hot & cold, although some only have hot. At least some give you the opportunity to alter temperature, as they should! Then again it doesn't annoy me as much as people who don't wash their hands. My friend says it's not just guys too, but girls who don't bother. then they touch things we touch. No wonder we're germed up scum

There are two nobs. One is warm the other is cold. But when I turn on the warm water, scolding hot water comes out. I am not talking about the sink at home, I'm talking about those sinks at public restrooms that are designed specifically to wash hands. Maybe this is just an American problem? I go into a public restroom. I turn on the sink.

Are you with me still? Ok, pay attention to this next part...

The water is so hot it burns my hands.

Now logically if water in a sink in the bathroom is specifically designed to wash hands, wouldn't there be an upper cap on the temperature to the point where it should NEVER EVER burn your hands? And if there is only ONE nob to turn on the water, do you think that this nob, which is connected to this sink design just to wash hands, should make the temperature say 70 degrees or 140 degrees?

This is the same thing as turning on a heater blanket and having it burn your body. If the purpose is to heat you up, then it's not supposed to BURN you.

This is an example of technology not fit for human compatability.

You getting the logic? Or do I have to hit you with a wet carrot?

turn on the cold water tap, wash hands, leave. Is it that fucking hard to work out? Why do you need to turn on the hot water tap at all?
