Why isn't Armin Van Buuren visiting Toronto this spring?

2 years ago, he was at Decadence, last year he was here the week after Decadence.

How come this year, he's here in Winnipeg, Edmonton and Montreal, but skipped Toronto!?!?!

If anyone knows, please share!

Thanks,
KJ

why dont you send him a message and ask him?

Because you touch yourself at night.

It's boring to have the same DJs here all the time especially at the same times every year -- diversity keeps things fresh and less predictable

how many fucking times can we all see avb?

lol, you're such a n00b. Oakenfold was on top of his game around 2000, but since then his sets have been generic crap. Do you even know why you're excited about this, besides the Oakenfold name?

Tickets starting at 60$ to see Armin's Jesus Pose, and play a mediocre set well his manager recruits preteens for after party sex...

Goodtimes

lol what? Who forces you to go see them anyways? If there is demand, and the DJ is booked, what's the problem? Ok, yeah more variety would be great, but IMO Toronto has had an immense variety of DJs make their way through in 2006, 2007, and lets hope 2008 will not be any different. So, if one very popular DJ is here more often than others, and you are clearly not a fan, save youself some money, stay at home. Or go check out another venue. There is shitloads of stuff happening practically every weekend.

laugh all u want.. i still love his stuff, people say a lively mind wasn't that great??? they should STFU! he is coming out with his best of remixes which should be great. My first time at guv was like 2001 and oakey had the place rammed!! it was the night this dood climbed up on the main floor speakers and danced on top of it with a smoke--craziest thing i've seen at guv. i was right by him!!!

He hasnt been here cuz he's the "number 1 dj". Number 1 dj's dont have time for toronto. why do you think PVD is gonna be playin here for the second time within 1 year???

I only goto mostly all access events like this one or I go see Dj's/producers i wanna see. Do u go often?

also,, on a youtube vid (i think from invasionmix) theres this girl that climbs those metal tubes that goto the ceiling.. she gets like halfway and security comes after her.. it would of been cool if she got to the top

It's 2008 man, and imo, he hasn't done anything worthy of mentioning since the Bunkka album (I can overlook the album's obvious attempt to go more mainstream). So you caught him at a good time for sure. As soon as he abandoned his Psy Trance roots, he's become just another generic Trance DJ. If I knew he was going to play like he used to, I'd be right up front there with you. But he's just going to play whatever Armin has in his crate right now, and throw in a Southern Sun remix for the oldschool fans, and call it a day. No effort at all anymore.

i guess when your rolling around with millions of dollars and you were already #1dj then I guess u don't have to put in any effort. I really enjoy his perfecfto on tour show, IMO he still plays like he used to. I bet u any money armin will get lazy and lay low ..as well as tiesto..once your #1 dj its like your in retirement and theres no pressure or drive to become the best. I'd like to mention paul van dyk is still #1 in my books and he is not settling down any time soon.

speaking of #1dj's i believe ferry will be next ..maybe markus schulz and sander van doorn following ferry.
