I'm calling it now.
America is fucked. If a reasonable candidate doesn't win this election we are fucked past the point of no return. And by reasonable I do mean someone like Barack, at the least Hillary.
The elevation of stupidity, lack of objectivity and thought in the mainstream of pretty much everything in this country is reaching an all time high.
Get your ass back to France. imho
Hate to break it to you but there will be no progress over the next 4 years, no matter the candidate that wins.

I'm already thinking about leaving the country for a bit, just in case a shitstorm starts....
Bush is a puppet.
The next is a muppet.
..what intrigues me, is who's pulling the strings ?

LOL, I'm just curious to see how whoever wins handles the war... they say BRING US HOME but thats fuckign RETARDED becasue its not liek we can just overnight leave Iraq. I wonder - will the Democrats keep their promises and bring us home, or will they keep us over here and FUCK US on pay and benefits and equipment? I see both as a possibility. Or alternatively, will the republicans keep trudging on blindly tying to figure out counterinsurgency 101 while nothing is accomplished?
Thast all I really care about - what happens to Iraq, what happens to the men on the ground? FUCK THE PEOPLE OF IRAQ I'll say that right now, but what about our boys over here? I want to see how they handle this issue.
Maybe being here opens my eyes, but I hear a lot of talk and promsies. Its gonna be a circus LOL its gonna get nasty in congress I predict. I want front row tickets to see those turds fight it out.
im getting the fuck out

Both obama and hillary want to slowly withdraw from iraq, they are not just going to pull-out immediately.
But when we do withdraw, we can probably count on thousands of previously pro-american iraqis being systematically slaughtered, especially if civil conflict engulfs the country. As people watch their fathers, sons, daughters, mothers get killed, you can sit there arguing your armchair politics why foreigners hate americans and why terrorism exists.
I was anti-war from day 1, but I'm not entirely convinced that premature withdrawal is the best answer... Bush, like him or not, got enough votes to make him the president. People should be somewhat responsible for the actions of the candidates they choose to elect. We had the chance to pull him out, and what happened? Americans granted him a second term without controversy.
