It's all just fluff at this point...

Obama's got MOJO on his side!

This seems to be getting a lot of play on the blogosphere that she is finished, but why hasn't the MSM picked up on it? If it was truly the campaign-ending gaffe as the blogs suggest, the MSM should have pounced on it immediately.

Unless they're playing favourites and actually want her to win.

because it's not really a big deal....regardless of the insignificance of the countries she was sent to as first lady, it is still more exposure than obama has had. she has been saying that she has more foreign policy experience than obama, i don't see how that is refuted by this.

I think it would just take too long to display in a 30 second soundbite. That's why we haven't seen it on the news yet..

They would have to display those big long quotes and the public doesn't have the attention span for it.

BHAHAHAAHAHA!!!

/is convinced either Opus types 140wpm or doesn't work....

I would take a long well worded, referenced, and clearly defined argument over some of the bare-bones quote-and-respond style you guys seem accustomed to. Opus' and Occ's views are always apparent, many of you seem to prefer to keep yours open to guess, preferring to respond to other's view points rather than state what you believe. I hardly call combing through a page long response for 5 words to quote as if that is a summation of the entire argument, debate.

Oh you guys, you just simply make me *blush*!

In regards to Hillary and to answer Josh's question, the MSM is starting to pick up not just on this story but the fact that she has absolutely no chance in winning this election given the delegate count now, and the superdelegates are not going to be pursuaded to go towards her when her opponent has such a clear lead.

However, nothing fits better in the MSM than a story of conflict of some sort, and the best controversy they can continue to trump up is that there's still a major tight race going on right now, which is much more newsworthy especially with the name "Clinton" involved.

They're starting to pick up on what the blogs knew over a month ago, however. The avalanche will be coming in the next couple of weeks, even before Pennsylvania.

To add to what Opus just said, take this into account: Obama has over $30 million in cash on hand left from his massive February fundraising total. Hillary is in the red. How long can a campaign that is already behind run on mere fumes?

well good for her.....

She would've probably been better had she simply not responded. Personally, none of this surprises me and I think it's stupid, but nonetheless, it looks like she's in the net.

Clinton Says She `Misspoke' About Bosnia Landing, NYT Reports
2008-03-25 08:00 (New York)

By Nadine Elsibai
March 25 (Bloomberg) -- Democratic presidential candidate
Hillary Clinton said she ``misspoke'' in her tale of running
across a tarmac under sniper fire after landing in Bosnia as
first lady in 1996, the New York Times reported.
Clinton, a New York senator, clarified her remarks yesterday
after CBS News aired footage that shows her and daughter Chelsea
walking calmly across the tarmac where dignitaries and a child
stood to welcome them, the Times said.
According to the paper, Clinton said at a meeting of the
Philadelphia Daily News editorial board that officials told her
``that we had to land a certain way and move quickly because of
the threat of sniper fire,'' not that shots were being fired.
``So I misspoke,'' she said.
Clinton's most recent description of the landing came last
week in remarks her aides said yesterday weren't part of a
prepared speech, the Times reported. Clinton has often cited her
80 trips abroad as first lady as evidence she's best prepared to
handle foreign affairs as president, the Times said.

So what of the "no welcome ceremony" and "running directly to the cars", etc., etc., etc., She's poison.
