also the the type of CD you use makes a big differnce on the quality when you play the vids right? I burned one using TDK cdr and another one using some cdrs i bought from computer show...and the one i got form the computer show is shit...the dvd palyer takes longer to read it, it wont fast forward very fast and it takes for ever to go to the next track...but the TDKs are soo much quicker

TDK is quality. i just recently bought 200 TDK's from Costco for around $80 with a $40 rebate i sent in....in the end 200TDK quality CDR's for $40

that's one of the best deals on quality cdrs...and i've already burned through 50 of them (my friend burned through 250 in 1 week making copies of various cd's and not a single problem)

I use TMPGenc.

Remember if u don't have a fast computer, the converting will take a long time!

I use Nero also, but depending on the quality of the original AVI you can lose more quality and somet times audio lag.

TMPGEnc it just amazing if you want to create a good quality VCD. It is a little slow, but I make alot of movie to VCDs so I like the quality.

is this a "demo" or "trial" version, and if so, will i need "you know what" to enable to make it work right?

if its a demo you need a real cd key like one you search for on yahoo but legal
