Pioneer Mixer Bullshit

BEWARE OF POOFTER DEALERS SUCH AS DJ CITY, BAD MOUTHING PIONEER MIXERS CAUSE THEY CAN'T THEM. RUMOUR HAS IT THEY ARE SPREADING THE WORD THAT PIONEER MIXERS OVERHEAT AND BLOWUP........THIS IS TOTAL CRAP AND ANYONE WHO SELLS OR OWNS A PIONEER MIXER WILL TELL YOU THAT. THE GUYS AT DJ CITY ARE TOTAL MUPPETS IF THAT'S THE TYPE OF GARBAGE THEY GIVE THEIR CUSTOMERS. I'M PRETTY SURE AT LAST GLANCE, ALMOST EVERY MAJOR CLUB IN THE WORLD CARRIES PIONEER. GET UR FACTS RIGHT DJ CITY......MUPPETS.

I can vouch for this dude on an CDJ1000/800 mixer combo .. one of the best mofo's out there on that shit without a doubt.

yeah i do sell mixers and take offense to anyone who discredits a product such as pioneer. if i don't carry a brand (which is good) i don't rubbish it because i don't carry it. i contacted DJ city today and heard it first hand and told him exactly what i thought of his salesmanship.
It's rubbish like that that makes young kids go out and waste a lot of money on inferior products. "Fill their heads with rubbish and take their money". Great mentality. As a retailer, you should be educating and know first hand what is being used throughout the industry, ie. BE A DJ.

But yes, to generalise that they overheat and blow does sound like ridiculous rubbish, and I don't think anyone would actually believe that claim.

I dunno mang - surely it's fair to expect decent and honest advice when your spending a hell of a lot of money on something you don't know much about??

When i worked in selling home theatre stuff I refused to sell something based on anything other than a combination of what was the best product for their budget and what were their needs. I don't think it's too much to ask that you'd get the same service with Dj gear.
