It would be nice if we could see the number of posts that everyone has in the forums--like on DI.com

OK, there was a few reasons that post counts where removed.

1) because people used to spam everywhere to get their post counts up
2) people used to compete to see who had the highest post count
and
3) People used to use their post count in arguments. For example "oh i must be right as i have more posts than you"

Hope that explains why we dont have them.

I dont think many people mind anyway

They were removed for various reasons.

Some ppl thought it was cool to post

to every thread on the page to up their post counts, or make threads in the chill out forum designed to increase said post counts hence why posts in chill out forum do NOT go to your post count now and the totals were removed from your shown profile in posts to basicly say
Post Counts mean nothing.

You should post to contribute to the forums not to say hey i got more posts than u

PS. If you want to see how many posts a member has, then click the profile button on their post.

anyway I believe that it is good that the real post counting was removed.

Besides, you can even now see how many posts you have by clicking the "Profile".

Yes, after they have filled in location they just add it, so they have to keep updating it, pritty sad really.

why is it sad? I only did it for kicks....to have something different, like it once used to be.......yeah i did update it about once every 2-3 days....no big deal..that got old...moved on...
