New video camera advice for me?
So I was videoing Decadence and went home thinking I got some good shit. I viewed what I done and FUCK, the videos were shit. They have this ghostly look too them. This happened with the Ferry Corsten video and I made it look like old skool shit by doing it in B&W to recover it.
So it happened again, even though I test the dam thing out at home and it looked fine. I thought Ferry Corsten was isolated. It was not. So I decided it's time to get a new one.
I'm interested in an HD / hard drive or mem stick type, and I'm willing to spend about 1,500 on it. It would also be nice if it was great in low light conditions. Perhaps there's some good ones I should look into. Advice anyone?
Here's my Ferry Corsten video as an example. You see how there's a ghosted look to it. All video effects are not on. I think it's something to do with the Nightshot stuff.
There must be someone who has exposure to home video equipment like Futureshop or Japan Camera or even Henry's.
My videos turn out alright visually... the sound is shit tho!
Anyone know of a good camera that has good sound? Tried the Fuji Finepix, and a Cannon Elph...all shitty sound... now a cheap Sony Cybershot has good sound, shitty video...
Fuji Fine Pix (MSTRKRFT Labour Of Love Tent)
Cannon Digital Elph (Sebastian & Kavinksy @ Daft Punk Toronto)
Sony Cybershot (DJ Jazzy Jeff) [Bad Video]
I have found that the Canon Elph's give the best video, the key though is hold your finger over the mic button, not super tight but the sound will come out decent enough by doing that.
I'm seriously looking at a Sony HDR-SR11 60GB (Hard drive) High Definition Camcorder.

I'm not sure if it has the nightshot stuff on it.
Actually is does... it has Super Nightshot. You can record with almost no light at all with infrared,
