It may have been the soundtrack to Run Lola Run. I think my parents may have bought that one for me, though, after I saw the movie and said I liked the music.

One possible contender for the first EDM CD that I actually bought would be Orbital's Orbital 2 (brown album). Still one of my best purchases...

on CD i think it was dr. alban - proud to be african or what it was called (not sure thats edm tho lol) then prodigy - experience, or maybe some 2unlimited stuff. on vinyl i think it was discogogofiesta.
