Toronto Pubs/Bars

I need some help here boys and girls (and I couldn't find an already previous thread started)

A friend of mine is coming to TO this weekend with friends to watch a couple baseballs games and are looking for some good pubs/bars to head to.

I really am only in TO to visit with friends or for the club aspect so I have no clue and figured I would ask all you experts that live in the city to help me out a little, please and thank you

Yeah, great bar for Jays games - close to the Dome and lots of TVs. There's a Shoeless Joe's on Queens Quay at Rees (I think) that looks pretty good too.

The Peel Pub on King by the old Mirvish resturants is good. Or the Elephant and Castle on King if you want to class it up a notch.

Really? Shit, shows how long it's been since I worked downtown.

Grace O'Malley's is a nice place during off-peak hours. Close walking distance to the SkyDome as well.

No doubt. I think it changed about two years ago. Something like that anyhow.

Yeah, Peel's service was horrible and it was bound to close down. I just remember them refusing to give me a real pint glass for my beer, even though the place was empty.

Yeah,

Loose Moose is always a fun joint. Right by Union too so its not to bad...

It Depends on the area too..

I usually go to this Sports bar around St. Clair & Yonge called the 'Sports Centre Cafe'...

Great place and they have some nice large TVs there and the food is decent.

oh fuck..I completely forgot about The Maddy!

Definitely a great bar to hit up! And it's 21+ on Friday/Saturday which is nice!

...if you're underage, just walk across the street to the Brunny for some Shenanigans haha

And if you guys like the Madison, check out Paupers, its another bar owned by the same ppl as the Madison and is just as much fun (not as spacious though).

The Madisson >>>> Never fails to be a great time. An old house made into one giant party place. Like ten different rooms with different themes. EX: piano room>> party to a pianist. Everyone is yoru friend there.

The Bier Market >>>> Over 30 different beers, cozy atmosphere, always busy! The food is made with beer too!

I love these pubs! Great drinking times Jenn!

I gave them all the links to what you guys have said and they can make their own choices from there. We really appreciate the advice.

Thank you!
