Who's laughing now? He did a great job imo. Especially in that 0-2 goal.

Posted by denys envy on Apr-01-2008 20:50:

Game should've been 5-0. Especially with Rooney, Carrick, & Ronaldo blasting wide from mere 10-15 feet.

Park's role in that goal was good.

Yeah the same on saturday should have been like 7-0 rather than 4-0 but its all good Man U is into the semi's and will probably beat barca

ManU ist unstoppable atm, perhaps the most dominating team since the legendary 1995 Ajax squad.

is it....

I can't see anyone stopping United the way they are playing at the minute
love him or hate him, Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player in the world, Wayne Rooney is one of the best strikers in the world, and then just add Tevez for shits and giggles at the end.
Barcelona have no Messi, Etoo is crocked, Ronaldinho is an alcoholic, Bojan is a talent for sure, but he's not ready yet. Ferdinand will have Henry in his back pocket, like he usually does.

aye, I'm hoping Liverpool win the CL though. I don't mind arsenal either, just so long as it's not united. I'll give their dues but I dislike the old **** and some of the other players, like Neville, Evra, Giggs etc.

I don't see anyone mentionning Chelsea here. For me the Blues are the only serious competitors for the CL title.

the ONLY ones? right...

Posted by verndogs on Apr-02-2008 14:37:

my thoughts on the game:

1) Roma was seriously missing Totti.

2) Roma looks like Arsenal, except a bit slower and a bit more organized.

3) United won despite the midfield happily turning the ball over at times.

4) Ronaldo's goal yesterday was just brilliant.

5) Ronaldo has herpes.

the only ones capable of taking it away from ManU, yes. Perhaps Liverpool, too, if they have one of those supernatural Champions League moments I was never able to understand, given their average squad.

Nah. I'd put them on the same level as Barcelona two years ago- clearly the best team in Europe with the best player, on course for the double and just look destined to win it.

It's not really been a good year- the Italian sides seriously underperformed and Real Madrid and Valencia went to shit. No Juventus or Bayern Munich either. Man United are easily the best team in the competition and should win it, barring a fuck up.

Thankfully ESPN is broadcasting today's clash. I am very content and happy I purchased a DVR in time for this epic battle.
