Chicane - Autumn Tactics

Why o why does nobody make vocal tracks like these anymore. Absolutely my favourite tune ever. Still remember when I bought the album for Don't Give Up ( ) and fell in love with this song. Why has Chicane gone to pop, why has Thrillseekers resorted to safe-pop tracks like By Your side and Dreaming of You. Why can't they in the middle of all their excuses of 'catering to the current trends' make one or two tracks that bring us back to those glory years.

Why o why indeed

They do, you got to hunt them down though. Totally agree on Chicane though 'stoned in love' was his lowest point. Even lower than Power circles complete vocal raping of 'offshore'

the only good thing the anthony pappa vocal mash of offshore & power circle brought was the AMCA and the Salt Tank remixes.

ye, also, 'Autumn Tactics' doesn't have a male vocal, unless Justine Suissa has a penis noone knows of.

SIL would've made a great vocal dub I think.

But yeah, Autumn Tactics

"Sail back this way again. Winter's one breath away" - Best part of the whole song (mark 2:46 on BTS CD). Beautiful harmony and sums up Chicane. Absolutely blissful.

Who said it was a male vocal?

I think he means that it's a good thing it doesn't have a male vocal.

The smileys made it sound like he was correcting someone there

thrillseekers remix ftw

My favourite has always been Chicane's End of Summer Remix.

I think no one makes tracks like this very often because it its un-remixed form, it's not really a dance floor track. It's too melancholy--which is why it's such a good song in the first place...
