i go graphic design, and it takes more than decent skill to pull that shit off.. its not just simple brushes + gaussian blur.. its pretty sick

nah, it's not that hard. take 3 black on white pictures (wings, musical notes and some grunge), invert them, merge them, set the layer to screen, duplicate the layer, blur it, change the hue of the blurred layer to pink, stick it on a picture of tjis cut out and imposed on top of a bridge. done. nothing special still a cool pic though

ya it's pretty much for doing clipping paths, illustrator is better for drawing that kind of stuff

i use to despise the pen tool too, but if you start using a lot you'll learn to love it... its really the ultimate selection tool, IMO

im learning to like it more and more already actually, i use to use magnetic lasso a lot but when i had to select peoples hair it's terrible, i sure pen tool would be far more useful and accurate there.
