What bird is this? I caught it right outside my room smoking, though it was cool. Super shitty pictures, i was zoomed in 16x lol

I had the camera tilted on a bar even then i think the cam has a self stabilizer.

Not really sure, sorry Chris. I don't have much experience with non-Australian birds

Ahh. I'll do some research i guess there is a shit load of them around here. I seen that one and four more flew by. I'll try and take some decent pictures of em for ya, add to your collection.

Lol, I like all birds, I just don't get a chance to see many non-Australian birds. You know, being in Australia and all

We get some of the migratory birds from Indonesia and Papua New Guinea though, which is cool. But nothing from North America really comes this far, so I can't help in IDing it.

We don't have anything like that set up for birding in Australia. About the best we have is a Yahoo group, which is laaaaame.

I really gotta make a site like that

Yeah, but you could say that about a lot of people's interests. It just depends what you're into I guess

I personally find them quite fascinating. Their songs and habits, and how they react to having you around in their territory. They're just cool Plus, I like photography, and being outdoors, so it works well for me.

Do it! My new hobby now. I just took some more pictures and almost died. This little bugger below was all up in my shit he was about 4ft away looking at me like i was a huge nut!
