Raver Clothes
now i was gonna start a thread on how you do that cool stuff with glowsticks so if you have a site you can point me to pm me or something.
Now i know it doesnt matter what you wear or how you look but when i was searching for glowsticks i came across posts on rap/hip-hop, ginos(don't know what the hell that is) and about other stuff liek clothes.
Anyways i've seen people in damn near all clothes at the one rave i went to, from wife beaters and jeans to AE to Gat to UFO to Etnies to everything. Now since most of the kids at my school are into the "thug" or rapper look(shiny jeans and big chains on the neck) and the other are into metal or rock(the freaks, everyhting pierced, big chains on the pants) then the large group of skaters, the preps, and you know the normal people and all of them.. starting to go on too much
But my point is there arent a lot of electronica fans at my school or ravers, so what do you wear to a rave and outside of raves.. i know it really doesnt matter how you look but i'd like to see if the movie stereotypes are true
sorry for babbling so much, i do that
hehe i wear jeans or khakis with hand-me-down shirts I buy from a hand-me-down store called savers... i have about 4 pairs of thong sandals, one pari of reefs, a bair of birkendas which I made from birks and adidas, and a pair of leather dock shoes I have to wera to work. Also my cleats for Ultimate, but thats the only time I wear those...
I wear sandals all year long and pretty much mismatch the wierd and random shirts I have with jeans or khakis.
Cheers,
-Marc
sneakers! i cannot dance without sneakers. and that has caused me to stop wearing heels at work because i have come to value comfort.
other than that, i wear whatever fits that day (i keep losing weight, the more i dance) ususally jeans and a tank top or something like that.
and glasses because the lights hurt my eyes.
That's how my school was at first too. Me and one of my friends were the first ones in my town to go to a rave. We just dressed like that whatever, and listened to electronic music, and others started to like it too. Then out of nowhere, I noticed a lot of people in my school started liking it too.

i wear pretty much the same stuff if i go out clubbing.. i have these SCHWEET light blue pants, that i love and there is this cool hawaiian shirt.. recently i purchased a nice white one, which is going to get its use
when i walk around usually i wear all kinds of stuff.. from Suits - to work/ theatre etc. to jeans, to cool 70's style courtduroys {spelling?}
To a club environment:
A dark blue bandana, a puma shirt (usually the same one), dark jeans, and tennis shoes.
Outside:
'Normal' clothes to class and stuff. When going out I dress nice, usually black shirts and dark jeans, black leather shoes. I tend to buy expensive clothing.
*shrug*
Depends whether I'm going clubbing or raving what I wear...
But generally I'll wear light coloured trousers (sorta like chinos) and a decent shirt. I picked up this awesome shirt not long ago, it's got Bruce Lee and dragons on it .. hella sweet
I've also got a tight little black shirt I wear if I'm goin to a swanky club...
If i'm dancing a lot it's sneakers, otherwise just black leather shoes...
Well....I always wear casual.
About the lightsticks and neon stuff....well...hmmmzzzz, I hate it actually...why?, well most of all I go to Techno parties and you never see those sticks their...it doesn't fit in the context of the music.........at trance parties, no problem....but techno parties....hell no

just look around i wear whatever i can dance in and comfortable.
nike's
i recommend getting nike shirts. there are these specially designed shirts called "dri-fit" that are made of this special fabric that wick away sweat. so after7 hours of dancing you are still dry.
shoes? work boots! they don't look too casual and they're comfortable!
Pork!
I reccomend lots of Fun Fur. They're so soft and feel so good against you skin. Also lots (and I mean lots) of different color bracelets. Give me a pacifier and a surgical mask and I'm good to go.
Well, I'm not exactly the common "raver", I'm more classified in your system as a prep (A|X, A&F, Express)
And I alwayd kinda thought that Trance music was about being who you want to be and not what you "should" be.
With that said...
To raves I usually wear one of 2 outfits
~Dark Polo jeans, black Armani Exchange shirt with hologram logo, and some K-Swiss'
OR
~My regular khakis, and a short sleeve button up shirt with my Docs or BedStu's
To clubs I gotta rock my Express or Banana Republic Khaki Cargo's with long sleeve button up dress shirts or a V neck short sleave sweater. This with my Docs.
I dunno, i don't like the whole candy-raver image. So I try to be myself, I suggest that is what you do.
If im going to be doing liquid its gonna be big ass UFO pants and this black silk shirt with this crazy red embroidered design on the front and some dark grey running shoes that look like sneakers but have the support...just hanging out its aikido pants (they look like baggy white pocketless slacks) that are comfortable as heck, these flat leather shoes that are about 1 inch from sole to top of foot so its really thin and any number of crazily designed button ups I have.
alright
yeah actually alot more people have been listening to it now, well not a lot but more.
We dont have stores like Express, Banana, or Armani Exchange here.. i mean its like pretty far, at the closer malls its pretty much like skater clothes, polo, ecko, AE, AF, and some others
