Software

Hi, I am searching for the best software for producing Trance music.
-it should be able to do WAV loops (real time stretch)
-good synths for trance (synth leads, basses, !strings!) or good synths on the net downloadable
-friendly MIDI editor
-good VST support is a plus
-easy WAV sample usage
-it should have straight-forward interface

So far I have tried Sony Acid and Reason, and I would like to combine the two

What software would you use to produce high quality amateur trance music?

Thanx for help, or if there is some comparison between trance production software, point me there I just get the impression that there is no dedicated software for Trance.

Thanks again

fruity loops studio or ableton. never used reason or protools or nothing I would thing something with a sequencer such as fruity loops would be alot easier to use plus it is so accurate.

Ok, I tried ableton Live and it is quite good. I will try FL too.
What do the professionals use?

How do i create a "supersaw" sound?

I lol'd. I'd say within about 15 minutes of joining the forums I saw numerous threads on this.

I learnt that it doesn't matter what the professionals use. Theres not really a better DAW for producing trance. But if you are goin to use FL there are quite a few big producers that use/used it such as: Deadmau5, Breakfast, Maor Levi. And others as far as dance music such as radiohead.
